How to delay aging naturally

How to slow down the aging process naturally

In this world, there is no single person who wants to age early and doesn’t want to feel and look young. The aging as the time pass is one of the major concerns to us human beings as it brings more and more health problems. Early aging is another concern for many people who are sedentary for most part of their day. In this article, we will know about the aging process and how to delay or reduce the effect of aging?

WHAT IS AGEING?

According to WHO, at the biological level, aging results from the impact of the accumulation of a wide variety of molecular and cellular damage over time. This leads to a gradual decrease in physical and mental capacity, a growing risk of disease, and ultimately, death.

According to WHO BY 2050, the population with age 60 and over will be around 2 billion and mostly will be in middle- and low-income populations which is going to test their medical structure. One thing that must be kept in mind is that being aged is also a very specific topic as people of 70 years old carry the physical and mental capacity of 35 years old.

One thing is sure that we can’t stop aging completely. But there are some methods by which can delay it to some extent. This is also term as Healthy aging.

Which 4 things affect your aging most?

Exercise-

Your best support system that helps you to live long. There are so many researches present that support the statement that regular exercise helps you in healthy aging. For this one should at least complete the minimum requirement that is laid by the WHO.

Weight training and Cardiovascular training together can help you a lot in achieving your goal. Exercise also helps you in maintaining your immunity.

Environment-

The environment in which you live also plays an important role in healthy aging. Living in a highly polluted environment causes your skin to appear dull, this is the reason people live in mountains and hilly areas appear younger than their age and your lungs get weak, these weak lungs do not support our goal to live long.

Food

For food, it is simply said that “What you eat is What you are”. A healthy balanced not only keeps your body weight in check but also delays the aging process. Being too lean/skinny or too fatty both harm you in a certain way.

Being too skinny causes your skin to be look dried and being too fatty comes with hundreds of problems.

High protein and less processed foods will be my top recommendations to keep your body active and healthy. Veggies and fruits are also a must as they provide essential vitamins and minerals to keep your skin glowing and healthy and also helps you in building immunity.

Reduce Stress and good sleep

Stress is literally a poison to your systems if it is not controlled. It hampers growth, reduces immunity, causes several other mental problems that in long run can turn fatal. Hence, keeping your stress levels in check is very important.

Last but not the least thing is sleep. I recommend sleep as the best recovery pill for every human, even most of the time the one thing which an athlete is missing always is proper sleep. In the era of gadgets and technology, our sleep patterns are gone haywire.

There are numerous studies that show how changes in sleep patterns can be detrimental to our health. 7-8 hours are my recommendations for an adult or you can experiment on yourself after how many hours of sleep you feel energetic and fresh throughout the day.
